Preparedness, Anticipatory Action, and Rapid Response

Strengthening the preparedness, anticipatory action (AA), and rapid response continuum is a priority for the Global Education Cluster.

Preparedness enhances the readiness of clusters and their partners to prevent, reduce and/or respond to the impact of shocks. AA enables clusters to act ahead of a predictable hazards, with the objective of preventing or mitigating their impact on education. Reinforcing preparedness and AA efforts are key to bolstering effective rapid education response.
