In order to strengthen the consistency of indicators used by country Education Clusters, therefore analysis of findings at global level, and to support country Education Clusters in drafting relevant questions, the GEC developed a questions bank for school surveys. This was done using previous assessments, Education and Child protection resources, lessons learned, GEC thematic experts’ as well as UNICEF Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE)  technical Working Group inputs.

For each EiE domains, the questions bank proposes responses options, recommendations on analysis and reporting, whether or not the indicators feeds into SDG 4, and whether or not the indicator is relevant for gender/ AAAQ analysis.
