The overall goal of the education response is to ensure access to safe, inclusive and quality education for children and adolescents affected by the protracted crisis. The Education Sector primarily aims to support basic education services particularly in the areas where schools are damaged, closed, overcrowded or are not fully operational. The Education Sector response prioritizes the school aged boys and girls who are most vulnerable and aims at strengthening the capacity of the education personnel and education system to deliver a timely, coordinated and evidence-based response to those in need.
