Webinar | Localising the COVID-19 Response

Date: 17 June 2020 | Time: 14:00-15:30 (Central European Time) | Online Meeting (Zoom) | Register | Flyer | Concept Note

Local partners are playing a central role in the COVID-19 preparedness and response as movement restrictions have severely impacted the ability of international actors to access people in need, and the pandemic had unprecedented impact on the humanitarian response modality.  Therefore, child protection and education services, among other humanitarian sectors, will be heavily reliant on local partners who live and work within the affected populations.

The Child Protection Area of Responsibility and the Global Education Cluster have joined hands to organize this global webinar to discuss and explore ways in which the COVID-19 response is being localized or can be further localized. Register and join our webinar to listen to speakers from local and national organizations around the world, and explore some of the good practices.
